Reflecting on the First AlpCHI Conference

I am still reflecting on the first AlpCHI Conference, which took place on the beautiful Monte Verità near Ascona, Switzerland.

Co-organizing this inaugural edition was a real privilege. Our goal was to create a small and welcoming space for thoughtful exchange within the HCI community. It was wonderful to see this vision come to life through inspiring talks and engaging discussions throughout the conference.

We were fortunate to have four outstanding keynote speakers—
Yvonne Rogers,
Elisabeth André,
David Kim, and
Harald Reiterer—
whose talks sparked many interesting discussions.

Many thanks to all participants for contributing to such an open and engaging atmosphere!
