Panelist at the Doctoral Symposium of the 16th ACM Conference on Recommender Systems (RecSys 2022).

Being a mentor is inspiring. And it is an overwhelming experience to see a talent grow. So I did not hesitate to participate as a mentor also in the next round of WiMIR mentoring.

I’ve written a portrait about myself for the The Female Scientist with some personal infos about my decision to work in science and some experience with respect to being a women in science.

I am happy to announce that Martijn C. Willemsen and I organize tutor sessions in scope of the RecSys Summer School 2019. The idea is that each participant can discuss the specific research goals and questions with senior researchers/teachers of the summer school and fellow students.

I am happy to be a speaker at the ACM Summer School on Recommender Systems taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden, just a week before the official RecSys 2019 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Next round of WiMIR mentoring has just started. I am looking forward to this journey, mentoring a young female researcher.

This month I start mentoring a young female researcher as part of the WiMIR mentoring 2018 program. I am looking forward to this journey.
